Periodic table flashcards: learn every element
Learn the elements the way flashcards work best: see a symbol, try to recall the element, then flip the card to check. Each card also shows the atomic number, atomic mass, family and electron configuration.

How it works
Pick the first 20, the first 36 or all 118 elements. Tap a card (or press Space) to flip it, then choose Got it to take it out of the deck or Again to see it later. The round ends when every card is out of the deck.
Tips
- Say the name out loud before you flip. Recalling something yourself fixes it in memory far better than rereading it.
- Be honest with Again: cards you nearly knew come back later in the round, which is where most of the learning happens.
- Short, frequent rounds beat one long one. The first 20 elements take only a few minutes and cover most of school chemistry.
- When a card keeps coming back, open its element page and read one fact about it: a story is easier to remember than a symbol.
