How it works
Press start and type element names one at a time; each correct name lights up its box on the table. You can give up at any time to see the ones you missed. Spelling counts, but both aluminum and aluminium (and cesium and caesium) are accepted. Your best score is saved on this device.
Tips
- Go row by row: hydrogen and helium, then lithium to neon, then sodium to argon.
- Take the lanthanides as one block: lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium and so on.
- Many superheavy elements are named after scientists and places, such as einsteinium, californium and moscovium.
